Built-Up and Modified Bitumen Roofing

Built-up roofing has been a key component to Vaughan's business for over 60 years. This type of roofing consists of multiple layers of felts applied in hot asphalt with a flood coat of asphalt and gravel, or it can be used in conjunction with Modified Bitumen products.

Modified Bitumen roofs use the same layering principle as built-up roofs.  Thet membrane consists of a synthetic scrim encapsulated by modified asphalt.  The modified asphalt typically consists of either SBS (Styrene Butadiene Styrene) or APP (Atactic Polypropylene).

Vaughan Roofing is an elite applicator of all Built-Up and Modified Bitumen products. 

Single Ply Roofs

Single ply roofing is typically made of rubber or plastic materials which are pre-manufactured into flexible or semi-flexible membranes.  The most common types are Thermosets (EPDM) and Thermoplastics (PVD, TPO). Spray Foam Roofing

Sprayed Polyurethane Foam (SPF) is spray applied to liquid that rises to many times its original thickness.  This roofing product creates a seamless roof system with incredible insulating properties.  Most structures that receive a SPF roof will see dramatic increases in cooking and heating efficiency.
